Who doesn’t like a giveaway? Well, we certainly love gifting our readers, so here’s another one that may pique your fancy. We are giving away a Blu-ray DVD of the brand-new just-released film “Alex & Me”. The film stars soccer superstar Alex Morgan and rising actress Siena Agudong.

The film was recently released on June 19, it went straight to Blu-ray and DVD. It was previously released to digital services on June 12. The film follows teenager Reagan Willis, played by Siena Agudong (Star Falls, Killer Women, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), who has a dream to play soccer like her hero Alex Morgan. She lives in the shadow of her brother Logan, played by Matt Cornett (Life In Pieces, Bella and the Bulldogs), who is already in a team; and, when she fails to make it on to the local premier soccer club she gets humiliated by her rival, Claire – played by Jessica Treska (Talentik, Sharp Objects).

Not long after, Reagan ends up hitting her head, by accident, and Alex Morgan comes right out of the poster in her bedroom. This is where our main character’s life changes as she starts training, starts concentrating, and starts to gain confidence in herself.

This is definitely going to be a film we all need to see. It does slightly remind us of Bend It Like Beckham. This film also stars Jerry Trainor (iCarly, Drake & Josh, T.U.F.F. Puppy) as Nigel – a less-than-reliable youth soccer coach; Colin Critchley (Legends of the Hidden Temple, Super Wings!) as Reagan’s soccer-playing pal, Ben; Chuiti Tiu (Nashville, Desire, 24) as Reagan’s mother; and Jim Klock (True Detective, Scream Queens, The Whole Truth) as Reagan’s father. The film was written by Eric Champnella (Thunderstruck, Mr. 3000, Eddie) and he also made his debut as the director on this film. Acting as co-producers are Alex Morgan, Mike Karz, and William Bindley. Todd Williams acted as executive producer. The film is being distributed by Nickelodeon Network and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
